Perplexity Launches AI Email Assistant for Premium Max Subscribers
Perplexity has rolled out a new "email assistant" exclusively to its premium Max subscribers. The assistant, currently working on Gmail and Outlook, is built to manage several inbox tasks including scheduling meetings, organizing and prioritizing emails, and drafting replies that match your tone. The meeting scheduling works in the sense that, when added to email threads, the AI assistant will check your calendars, suggest times, and send invites. The organizing and prioritizing emails are handled through automatic labeling and prioritization, ensuring that important messages are surfaced. In addition to that, the Perplexity's AI email assistant can so summarize your email and give daily priorities. However, it's important to note that the email assistant is exclusively available to premium members who subscribe to the Perplexity's Max plan,which costs $200 a month.
